Hey guys,

I didnt need any help for quite some time so it probably means the virtuemart is in its top state atm  ;D

Anyway - there is one thing now. I am on latest Joomla 3.9.something and latest VM 3.6. What I need is pretty simple. When you change order status it usually updates the invoice thats sent in the notification email. What I would need is to add one more thing to a certain state email and a few lines of text but I cant find what file to override... Will you help? I only need to know which file is controling status change emails...

Thank you!

Jack Stiles

Nobody?  :) This must be something easy... just a file override... I just dont know which one  ::)

GJC Web Design

just detect the status in the (over ridden)   components\com_virtuemart\views\invoice\tmpl\mail_html_shopper.php or \components\com_virtuemart\views\invoice\tmpl\invoice_order.php
(unclear if u mean invoice or email) and depending on the status add the text

Hey GJC thanks a lot! I must say I consider the email system in VM to be quite a weak link but.... well it is what it is ;-) Although it would be nice to simply have an editor where you could just edit whats in emails and what do they look like  ::) :D

Anyway - thanks a lot!
