Would VirtueMart be suitable for us?

Hi,

We're considering migrating our official website to VirtueMart.  It's currently a simple website without any gift vouchers etc and checkout is by PayPal.  Would VirtueMart be too much for our site or do you think it's a reasonable choice?  We're currently on shared hosting and will probably not want to upgrade that without a good reason.  We are, of course, considering other cart systems too.

I think the answer from anyone here on the VM forum will be yes..    .. why not?  VM is the best Joomla based shopping cart available... for simple to extremely complex ecommerce sites
