ViewCart Button

Assuming a shopper has added some products to their cart, then they visit product pages to shop some more...
is it possible to add a 'View cart' button to a VM shop's product category and product pages, so that shoppers can have a quick look at what's in their basket? If so, how?
(Have looked through documentation and elsewhere online, but can't find how.)
