Hello, we are having a problem on small screen devices (iPhones, iPads etc...) where the plus and minus buttons where you decide on the quantity to add to the cart are doubling. I have seen that other people have made forum posts about this - https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=112482.0 - yet I cannot see any solution given. We have other websites using Virtuemart where this is also a problem.

We are using the Uber template with Virtuemart 3.4.2.

I have attached two images, one showing the site being displayed on an iPad and one showing it displayed on a Windows Desktop PC. Unfortunately, we having trouble trying to debug the site on the iPad as we do NOT have a Mac computer to plug it into for Safari's Web Inspector.

Any help with regards to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Why not simply hide the buttons on mobile +tablet ?
In all case, it's not user friendly because this buttons are to small.

if hiding isn't an option then just adjust the css to correctly display the background images or replace the html and use e.g. font + & -

Or use own CSS rules. In my shop, i dont use Vm CSS, it's too poor when you have bootstrap framework.
Of course, it need a little more work

Okay thanks for the suggestions and thanks for the speed of your responses. We have decide just to hide it on tablet and mobile devices using the code below:
@media only screen and (max-device-width: 1024px)  {
    span.quantity-controls {
    visibility: hidden!important;
}
}

We would just like to note that we think it would be great if an updated version of Virtuemart addressed this issue and made the buttons adapt responsively. Thanks in advance.
