How does VM Identify which address it is using in the order?

I am trying to figure out how Virtuemart identifies which user's address is specified in an order.

Example:
VM Shopper has 1 bill-to address and 3 ship-to addresses.

Shopper buys product and in cart area selects one of their ship-to addresses.

How does VM identify the chosen address in the jos_virtuemart_order table?

By using the order_id for the order in the order_user_info table.
