Fixed price per unit

Hi! We sell carpets and use customfileds for different sizes with additional charges. When the size is selected, the price changes, for example "initial price +-100$". Customers get lost, they want to see price per square meter. But when they choose size the price per unit changes as well! How can I get the price per unit fixed and display two prices : initial price per unit and price that changes when the size is selected?

That is very tricky - hopefully someone has an answer to this - I ended up disabling the javascript update of price
