Recently viewed items - Not Working!

I'm battling to get the Recently viewed items to work. See image attached.
Al the other options under VM - Featured products works well, except for Recently viewed items.

Any ideas on what the issue might be?

Almost every page gives errors

No sure why it's showing errors. I wonder if the server is giving issues?

The problem I have is that all the other display options work, except for Recently viewed items.

Is there a special setting for this to show in the front end?

With errors on the site, you can not store any recently viewed items. One thing at a time ...

Don't laugh! But how do I see the errors?

Is it a function I need to activate?

If You have not done anything with Your site since last You may have some odd behaviour. Now this is working as
far as I can see. Look at attached image.

But You  still have som oddities. Clicking Quick links and the clicking products gives 404 page.

Errors are normally logged in the server error logs.

You can also change PHP error level, turn on Joomla error and VM error to see more errors.

Turning off SEF can also show where the faulty links go.

Maybe You have cache in Joomla turned on, turn off this and also the cache plugin.

Are You trying to use https? The site has not https. This can also get You into trouble.
