What do you want these two check boxes to function for?
d. and o.

I do not really understund it from tooltip

d.: - Click here to disable the derived customfield for this child product - If I check this option, then this customfield not used on child product?
o.: - Override values of the derived customfield - Override value with value fromparent or value from this child product?

d = deactivate
o = override

correct -- the custom field will not be used on this child

o.: - Override values of the derived customfield - Override value with value fromparent or value from this child product?

Override value with value from parent - i.e. make a new value just for this child
