Overriding Isis template?
« on: January 14, 2019, 10:16:32 am »
Hello, probably a way too obvious answer, but here goes...

Is it possible to override specific parts of the Isis (or any) administrator template, just like with the front-end?

Thanks

Yes. Put your overrides in administrator/templates/isis/html

Is this in <site root>/administrator/templates/isis.html ?

Because that's where the original ISIS template resides, and my changes may be lost on future Joomla updates.

I suppose I cannot override (or make a 'child' for) another template. I would have to make a copy probably. Correct?
