Images too large

Images on products are displaying larger since my site has been updated to joomla 3.8.5 is there a fix for this?

You update Virtuemart too or only Joomla? Because Joomla do not handle image resizing.
If you updated Virtuemart, check if you find an update for your template, perhaps he need some little code changes.

I updated the template and virtuemart as well as Joomla one after the other but could be possible some codes maybe needed.
