Problem create product in sub category

Hello, I create category and sub category. I access categories and the sub category appears related to the category correctly. The problem happens when I want to create a product for that sub category.

When I look for the sub category created in the details of the new product, the sub category does not appear.

First Time I use Virtuemart  since few weeks, the same problem occur to me too

I solved it by confirming that I published the sub category.Try this way and if it doesn't work just place a comment then someone else will try to suggest a solution I'm sure.

I keep going with vm 3.2.6. I have to save the product WITHOUT category, and after the product is in the system, then yes, it lets me choose the new category. Before that, the new category does not appear.
