Frontend Search by SKU not Working

Hello.

Joomla 3.7.5 and Virtuemart 3.2.4.

When using the default Joomla frontend search box (virtuemart search plugin is enabled with all fields selected) I can't find products by SKU. I checked backend configuration and SKU is selected as search field.

Any suggestions?

I just tested this and it works OK for me, J3.7.5 VM3.2.4 with default VM templates. Maybe check that Search Filter Category is not selected in the search module configuration.

However I don't understand your suggestion. Do you mean that category related fields must be unchecked on Virtuemart Configuration "Product order settings / Available Search Fields" ?

When trying to search for a product if you are within a category that does not contain the product you are searching for then it will not be found.
