Is it possible to change Default shopper Group from Default?

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if its possible to change Default shopper Group from Default to another, newly created one...without having to buy the SHOPPER GROUP CHANGER addon?

Also if so, I guess it has to keep the Shopper Group Name as COM_VIRTUEMART_SHOPPERGROUP_DEFAULT in order not to cause any problems?

What would be the purpose of that? If the word "default" is the issue you could use a language override to change COM_VIRTUEMART_SHOPPERGROUP_DEFAULT to display "Fred's group" or whatever you want to call it.
