joomla 3.7.x with VM 3.2.2

hello together,

I am pretty new to virtuemart. So hopefully I will provide all details needed.

Can someone help me with my products?
I have a service product, which costs a monthly price.
The monthly price gets lower per contract length (1, 6, 12, 24 and 36 months)
Beside of this monthly price the one time/initial setup fee is depending also on the contract length. The longer the contract the lesser the setup fee.

Can someone point me to the correct documentation or even better to a example showing how to setup it?

Product variances
I have 3 variances of the above product with more services, so is there a common way to setup the dependency properly?

Cart handling from a Joomla-Article
Also is there a option to have a one click (a link) to place a product into a cart?

best wishes,
Anita

The issue is that to do what you want requires a payment plugin that works with a provider who has a monthly billing facility (I don't know of one).  A single upfront payment could be set up as a one time additional product, or maybe as a shipping charge, with the wording normally used overridden.

If the full payment were payable up front then a standard payment plugin could be used.

As for contract variations that could be covered by custom fields, and product variance by the use of child products. All in the docs:
https://docs.virtuemart.net/manual/general-concepts/186-derived-products-product-pattern-child-products.html
https://docs.virtuemart.net/manual/general-concepts/212-customfields.html

LInks in articles? There are plugins with names like "products anywhere" - so maybe look for those. It is a sublect that has been discussed several times in the forum.
