Lightbox or similar to have zoom effect on product image gallery

On the article page, why we don't have a smooth scroll bar to navigate between the article images, and a magnifying tool to zoom in details of those images? (and once clicked or touched, the full image opens at full screen, with a big X button to close even in touch enabled devices).

Zoom is available in many commercial templates, or as a plugin. I have not seen a simple scroll bar selector, but if you can't write it youself or ask a template developer to code it for you.

Probably a JS conflict, try with Protostar
