how to view selected products from different categories

Hello, is there an option to view only selected products from different categories or products from multiple subcategories? I know there's no module or menu for it and I´am beginner. I have categories: t-shirt, jacket, sweater and subcategories: children's t-shirt, women´s t-shirt etc. and I need to view all products for children and women. Thanks

Make a Children's & Women's category and assign ther relevant products to thopse. Any product can be assigned to multiple categories. 

Or you could use a filter, such as https://breakdesigns.net/extensions/joomla/custom-filters
