Hi All,

I've been amending the invoice emails and I want to reformat the titles as I've got some software that parses email titles and expects the information in a specific format. I've created language overrides for them but they're not taking effect, but if I amend the language file directly at /public_html/components/com_virtuemart/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_virtuemart.ini any changes are present in the emails.

Is there some setting or config I've got wrong or is this an issue?

You have to make language overrides for both front and backend in Joomla. Tick the "both" box in backend overrides  :)

Sorry, of course...
Joomla is 3.7.0
Virtuemart is 3.2.1

Jörgen, that's it! Brilliant, thank you. Frustratingly I can't simply clone apply all my overrides to both, I've got to make a new set but at least I can see what I've overlooked now.
:D

Overrides are set in a file. Copy contents of the file the rught place. Joomla overrides gives the filename in the form.
