Hello after installing VM i get these error message : Error

vmError: Warning, the Safe Path is not accessible (does not exist or no permission). For safety reasons it is very important to create a folder in a path not accessible by an URL or unguessable name, create also a folder 'invoices' and 'keys' in it to store your sensitive data secure. create an accessible path below public_html

Then put the path to that directory in the safe path field

so if you site is heldin in

/home/yoursite/public_html/

your safe path should be

/home/yoursite/vmfiles/

I don't think One.com permit access below web root.

Yup, but it is what you get with a  pile-them-high-and-sell -them-cheap host.  The best way to handle this is to use a non-guessable name for the safe directory and place in in Joomla root, maybe with .htaccess protection.

I previously moved a site from One onto Siteground for a guy so he could set up his event marketing site but had already found that the host support was crap.

Nice to hear it worked out for You

I moved from On because of performance issues to Siteground. But short after my switch On made some significant improvements with servers and performance possibilities. Anyhow, it would be interesting to hear what they did to solve the issue? Did You set anything wrong or did they change the access rights for You ?
