Bug in the shipment settings

There is a bug in settings the shipment details int backend. We can not setup email field for the shipment address from the backend as there is no such column in the table virtuemart_userinfos to store the email,thats why its not storing the email field.
Vituremartmart version 3.0.18.
Hope this will be fixed in near future.

Go to Configuration > Shopper Fields
Click on NEW
set the name Shipment email
set fieldtype emailaddress
Set Show in shipment form to yes
Set Show in shipment form to yes
Save it
and now there is email  in the shipment form
