Cannot edit SHOP OR PRODUCTS page - SOLVED

Hi, I recently upgraded a clients site to VM 3.2.14 and Joomla 3.8.10 from previous versions (VM 3.2.x and Joomla 3.8.x), and everything seemed to run smoothly. However the client has reported they cannot edit their SHOP page. They remember last updating the SHOP page about 8-10 months ago so they have been able to edit it before. I tried accessing the SHOP page and I also cannot edit that page because the layout looks broken (no template loaded?) and the description field is empty, with no editor showing, or any normal Joomla admin menus items or VM menu items showing either. Hard to describe so please see attached screenshot. I've teied reinstalling VM and VM AIO but this doesn't change anything. I also tried turning off the VM JQuery in the VM Config/template page but this makes no difference.

Any ideas what could cause this, and how I might be able to fix it?

Have you try to refresh or clear the browser cache ?

Yes - does look like missing JS (I have seen this before after upgrades - esp. on Chrome )  completely clearing the browser cache normally fixes

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it and it sounded very plausible. However I have now found out that we cannot edit ANY product pages either, see attached screenshot.

I have cleared my cache, and also tried another browser (originally Chrome, also tried Edge). I waited until my client had also tried on her Mac, and the same thing happens, except her screenshot is slightly different. Also have cleared the site cache, but still the same blank page. Nothings shows with either Joomla or Virtuemart debug turned on and the page doesn't throw any errors in the Chrome developer tools, so I just can't figure out why the layout is broken. See her screenshot attached.

Any other ideas?

Tried reinstalling but that didn't work.

However once my client told me that product pages were also broken, I found an old post relating to this:

AND I was able to fix it. I turned off the editor, the pages loaded correctly, and upgrading JCE fixed the issue completely :)
