Problems with sending mail from the site

Hello,
I have problems with sending mail from the site.
once you submit your order, the recording mail arrives, but does not arrive no confirmation email nor the seller nor the buyer, and does not come even when the transaction (in my case with paypal) has been successful.
get the paypal email but the site does not get anything.
inconvenient for the seller who is not notified when a new order.
Who can help me?

Assuming that your site has not yet been hacked, check settings for "Default Order Status to send email....." in VM Configuration/Emails   What is the returned order status from PayPal? What happens if you manually change the order status?

if I manually edit the order state, the e-mail arrives ... that's why I do not understand where is the problem!

p.s. I updated the version of joomla at 3.6.5

The likely problem is that PayPal is returning a Pending status for the order, and not a Confirmed status. Have you checked for this?

I put as methods of payment paypal and bank transfer. The bank transfer is of course always on the status of pending until you update it while I paypal once made all the payment is on the status of confirmed but not get any email, in any case. get the email of paypal or exchange was if I change myself.The email should not always get both the seller and the client just placed the order? the seller as it does to notice if someone made a purchase if it does not get any notification? You can not always control the administrative panel. I'm going crazy because the site is ready and there is this problem that seems unsolvable!

Do you have the correct settings for each "Default Order Status to send email to..." in VM Configuration/Emails ?

So this is a new site? The VM version you said you are using is 3.0.14 which is a year old. Very soon VM3.0.20 is to be released. See http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=136826.msg478498
