Custom field with link

Hi

Simple question, is it possible to create a custom field with a text that links to an article?

We just need a simple string type custom field, maybe that is not the ideal type.

I usually include this in the long product description. This works for me.

But maybe html (with the link) can be added into a custom field text string ? No elegant solution, I know...

HTML links can be entered into a string custom field, although does not display well in the BE. I have used Regular Labs ReReplacer to do a similar job with a dropdown list of custom links. This is easier to edit in the BE although does include a further component.
