Hey folks

I seem to be havingt an issue on vm3 with adding items into the cart.

The "add to cart" button works but once the page hachanged to the cart the cart shows as empty.

I have made the non www. redirect to www.
I have made sure the vm shop url also shows www.

the site in question is http://www.austinscarpets.co.uk/home/en

You have 49 click event on add to cart button.
Check with the template provider

Thank you for the information..

Im currently waiting for template dev to update the template to a newer version to rectify other problems also.. so i shall make them aware of this and hopefully they can rectify this issue for me

So i have still not had reply to my ticket from the template dev.. I got to say they are the worst company i have ever dealt with.. The template i have had over 7 months and from day 1 it has had problems which they have struggled to sort since (after 7 months they now take ages to reply and simply are no help)

Anyway i found that if i use the module on the front page the Sj module the add to cart function works perfect on this module. But all other add to cart buttons in the shop do not work.

I have the modal pop up to show but if i use the product add to cart button this does not show and i get directed back to the cart which is emtpy.

@Studio42 how can i find the code causing click events??

I really need to try and get this sorted asap..

I also have an issue that the template menu is stuck open on mobile devices but only on the front page

why not cut your losses and simply use a template that works built by one of the team and enthusastically supported by him?

I agree with GJC. YOu need to use a template system that is actively maintained - and obviously yours is not.  I also use templates from olympianthemes.com

Sorry but i think this need too much time to check and fix. It's certainly a bad dom element sibbling in javascript, but can come from other things as a bad template overide.
Last day i had similar problem and needed 2 hours, because the problem was in a template and in a plugin.
So this can be fixed in 5 minutes or in 2 hours and need some test after changes.

AH

I also recommend these guys - their Virtuemart Joomla template is IMHO excellent:-

They really know what they are doing with ecommerce and VM and their templates are easily configured to meet most peoples needs without coding
