Hi All,
after searching for hours I can't find how to solve my problem with the required fields validation (registration process).
Currently I've installed VM 3.018 on J!3.6.2 but the problem / bug does exist even in previous versions.
Here's the problem: even if a field is marked as required the script accepts a space as a correct input. Is there a way to avoid this? Would some VM Guru suggest how to solve this issue?
I'm available to pay a membership if needed.
Thanx a lot

Yes.. your right .. very crap

the prob is that VM uses the standard joomla validation script..
media/system/js/validate.js

you can try on any Joomla form (login , reg etc) -- it also accepts  a blank space

Thanks a lot. Understanding validate.js is over my head ...   >:(

You either need to write your own js validation for the VM form or better complain on the Joomla forum that their validator validates an empty space..

I will even if the Joomla developers should know that bug.
