USPS plugin Error : Failed to connect to production.shippingapis.com port 443

Hello ,

I am trying to  install and configure USPS Shipment plugin by the tutorial given on the URL http://extensions.virtuemart.net/all-tutorials/8-shipment/6-installation-and-configuration-of-usps .

But there is an Error displaying on cart and shipment method of USPS is not displaying.

I am facing the given error msg "Failed to connect to production.shippingapis.com port 443: Connection refused https://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll" which can be seen in the given screenshot. Please see the attached screenshots in msg.

some times i also get this error "vmError: No answer from USPS. PLz check your config parameters. Test turning off the Secure parameter"

Please solve the issue and help me to configure the USPS plugin in right way.

Hello alatak,

Thanks for reply but still its not working after setting SECURE to "NO". Have you seen the configuration in the previous message screenshot.

I have also tried with a proxy URL i.e. "http://proxy.shr.secureserver.net"  but that is also not working.

Please solve the issue and help me to configure the USPS plugin in right way.

I just tested with your credentials and setting the configuration parameter Secure to No, , and i can connect to USPS.
Please try again.

I checked out a moment ago that USPS shipment is still not showing in the cart.

i removed the proxy server value to get rid of proxy server related error.

Now USPS shipment is not showing and give a new error on top. see screenshots

Please have a look on errors in screenshot and help me to solve this issue.
