Editing Vendor Information

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to edit the vendor information but when I attempt to save the edits, I get an "vmError: Username in use." error.  How am I able to make the changes that I need to do when it won't let me do it?  Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated as we're ready to launch the website but this part is what's holding us back.
