Related Products custom field

I have a problem with Related Products
I must record two different types of relationships.
I made a copy of the standard field Related Products
in the custom field layout they look exactly the same

but in the product layout I can not link products to the 2nd field Related Products

what am I doing wrong

Hi,
I think related product search use an ID, so if you add a related product, this is always added to first related product list.
I don't think that you can add a second list. If you need it, you can do this with a customfield plugin, you can contact me or another developper in the forum doing custom works, to create the plugin.
