Hello,

I would like to use VirtueMart as the basis of an on-line mall. Basically, I want members of the site to be able to add items, and then when the product is purchased, the customer is taken to the checkout page for whoever owns the item sold. I can see possibilities with having the individual sellers set as either manufacturers or vendors, but I'm not sure if it could be worked out so that check out could take the buyer to the appropriate seller's PayPal.

Has anyone had any luck setting up anything similar to this? I'm open to alternatives too, any ideas are much appreciated. Thank you!

Great! I've been looking at php-multishops which integrates with php-nuke but I really didn't want to leave Joomla! VirtueMart with multi-shop capability will save the day. Do you expect 1.1.0 to come out within the next six months or so?

I'm currently setting up a marketplace using EZ Store but it can't track user's sales so I want to use Virtuemart. Do you have any idea when v 1.1.0 will be released?

If I install and use Virtuemart now, is there any way to upgrade to the new version and somehow shift products from a "vendor" status to actually be in a store?

Sorry for bumping but this feature would be extremely useful for a couple of projects I am looking into. I realize you are working on VM as much as possible (greatly appreciate it) but still... Any estimated release date? Any fund to chip into?
