lost home
« on: January 30, 2016, 16:36:49 pm »
Hi I just upgraded VM2.0 to VirtueMart 2.6.22
All looks okay only the home page is empty ... for some reason the link to http://www.website.gov/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=categories is not working any more ...

The second question I have and can be related ??
In order to make the menu buttons work I had to enter an external ink since the menu via an alias didn't work ( page not found )

Thanks in advance
Adriaan

It is more than 2 years ago that the categories display was removed.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=120433.0

Second sounds like a Joomla issue.

You should always keep Joomla/VM versions up to date.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0

First issue solved by adding a S to the home button link ... and yes this was a Joomla template issue that poped up during a VM upgrade ;-)

Next step is to upgrade to 3.newst indeed  8)
