How to have products/subfolders for images

Im newbie for VM and have some questions. I try Google and forums search and it did not help me
I have 500 images and I want to use diff. folders for it. For example Apple production in subfolder named Apple, HTC has another subfolder, so each manufacturer must have own subfolder. Or its better to use only custom folder Product for all pics?
