Is there a solution for this problem?
Custom Fields: String with Cart Attribute & List NOT working as expected in VirtueMart 3.0.7.4 Joomla! 3.3.6 Stable

i need to put different sizes and amount within my site and Custom Field is not working as it should, is this a bug or is there something im doing wrong?

You should be using VM3.0.11 now, earlier versions are insecure - lots of things with customs have been updated since your old version. Test the update on a backup, of course.

Thank you for the quick response, could you kindly provide with the link to the latest version download as i had tried VM 3.0.10 but nothing seems to be working.

i have tried the option stated on the link provided but with no luck nothing is displayed, however when i put Ontop on Layout Position, the fields apears but it doesn't change the values upon selection of the different values, my site is www.vplay.co.za/sybilm and i would like to put different inches with different prices.

I'm on VM 3.0.11 and i tried VM 3.0.10 and below but nothing seems to work!

your position must be 'addtocart'

Cart Attribute - yes
Cart Input - yes

at the moment the selects are not inside your addtocart form so will never work

if the position IS addtocart then your template must be at fault

Thank you very much, i have changed the template and the function works, but i want to use this conflicting template, how do i diagnose the problem within the template?

Use vm3.0.11, there is a fix for one type of customfields, maybe you stumble over that one.

i have installed VM 3.0.11 but still no difference, im even thinking of changing the template, the sad part, i bought the template. Would appreciate any suggestions!

just compare the files of the productdetails and sublayouts/product.php between the two templates
