VM 3.0.10
Joomla 3.4.4

If I click on the show cart link in the popup window after adding a product to the cart my shopping cart page does not have any page header or footer content. I'm using Rupostel's OPC but the problem exists with the native VM checkout as well.

Here is a link to the site: http://zclientdev.com/solfairtrade/fair-trade-products/lighting

How can I add the header / footer content to the shopping cart page in this situation?

Thank you!

bizarre.. can't think of any reason .. the <header> html simply isn't there

have you tried with the std. Protostar template..  if OK then it's your Rocket template

I am using a template override for my home page. That is why there is no header or footer on the home page. The primary/standard template view is used for my interior pages. The problem seems to be that VM insists on using the home page template for /index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart despite the fact that I have a hidden menu item defined and explicatly assigned the proper template.

Thoughts?

GJC Web Design

and have you a menu to the cart or at least com_virtuemart where you then can define the template?
If none then I assume it will take the /index.php template (your home page)

As you know Joomla allows you to assign the template to a menu item, which I have done. So what is the problem?

I just noticed that the continue shopping link has the same problem. Is it possible to force the template style for these links?

GJC Web Design

as this is in theory core Joomla it should

if it isn't working why not make the inner pages the default template and the homepage style the exception?

That is exactly what I have done! See the attached screen print.

Is there a bug in 3.0.10 in that the hidden menu item is not being recognized?
