[solved disable facebox] Getting a blank modal message upon adding to cart

We just released the site live, now it has some new weird behavior. When you add something to the cart the screen dims and a dialog window appears with no text in it... just a close box.

If I go into VirtueMart => Configuration => Checkout, and unselect "Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'" I get a normal modal popup now, as well as another system message at the top of the screen.

Turn off facebox - use only fancybox.   http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=131482

Stop using Facebox. Start using Fancybox. Huh? It's all Greek to me.

OK. I found the fancybox setting under VM => Configuration => Templates. So now I get a popup when adding to the cart. But the previous pop showed related products and had some nice styling. This fancybox does not. I guess I can re-style this box. But how do I get the related products back?

If the template developer hard coded padded.php to use facebox then I guess the template will need recoding.

It must have been a caching issue. the Related Products appear now. I just had to re-style the box a bit and all is good. Problem solved.
