Saving any address redirects straight to cart

Your help with this problem would be seriously appreciated. I have spent hours trying to figure this out.

I have created a menu link to: User Edit Address, When a user edits an address and saves from this page they automatically get sent to the cart page:
/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart&Itemid=1134

I want them to return tho the original page:
index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=user&layout=editaddress&Itemid=1134

Any ideas on where to start looking?

I am using VirtueMart 3.0.9 and Joomla 3.4.1

Thank you for your response. It was happening with both SEO on and off. Strangely it is no longer happening and I no longer have this issue.
