GoCoin Configuration Tab Blank

I was following this tutorial for installing GoCoin pluggin for VirtualMart on Joomla.

Everything seemed to go well accept the very end where it said "Configure GoCoin Payment extension, click on the Configuration Tab on the GoCoin Payment method screen"

When I click the configure tab in PaymentMethod>GoCoin  it just says this:

GoCoin
Payment Method: gocoin

there is not fields to put in my Merchant ID or API information as the instructions suggest.

Also, this might be related, but when I go to the website it is hosted on I see this prompt:

i Assign the component VirtueMart to a menu item

I am using Joomla 2.5.28 and the stable VirtualMart version for that one.  I have cleared the cache and purged and area is still blank for configure.

You must ask the developer/supplier of the GoCoin plugin. It has not been developed by the VirtueMart team and I have never heard of it before.
