Some words about Frontend-Administration for non-Backend Users (in this case – Vendors).

The idea with multishops in one shop with independent management of each shop of the vendor is very interesting, development really is in an early stage an alpha.
And this part of shop is very necessary!
And now it is a lot of bugs, for example:

1.   When I enter into management of shop as the vendor, I cannot change the information of shop (by default – the information of a site).
2.   When I’m going to add new product - categories are not defined.
3.   When I’m going to add new product – vendor in form field of the new product must be only one (it’s me, of coarse!).

Whether somebody from developers above this section of shop works?

Hi to all:

I'm looking to have on my portal www.doctorlife.org (joomla 1.0.8 + CB 1.0 stable + JoomFish etc.) a VirtueMart shop for each user want it:

Only one big login, search, and so on, but each shop is managed indipendent from its owner

Thinking this is the right topic question and reading Soeren answer
Please, Is there any news on it ?
Any VirtueMart 1.1 beta release ?
An estimathed release time ?

Many Thanks ...

PS What about http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_flyspray&Itemid=84&do=details&id=40  file Huh

I'm mega-annoyed.  I have gotten everything to work thus far ---> HOWEVER --> NO CATEGORIES SHOW UP IN THE FRONT END, So there is no point in trying to do a damned thing with my Merchants being able update their product information.  I don't know what to do here, the Category window opens up with NOTHING in it.  Therefore the item's SAVE button gives back an error saying YOU MUST SELECT a CATEGORY -- EVEN IF THE ITEM HAS CATEGORIES selected in the back-end originally and someone only wants to change a price!  I have tried EVERYTHING, short of making my Merchants SUPERADMINISTRATORS !!!!! AND GOD HELP ME I WONT DO THAT!!!!!

Can ANYONE TELL ME how this is supposed to work???

I am getting a bit annoyed at this after a while, the documentation here is still very old, no one ever seems to finish a forum thread without ending in -- A BLACK HOLE.

C'mon guys, this is a very impressive software and if we put our heads together we could fix alot of the silly bugs in it.

Please guys, HELP!
