I can not add any products in the backend!?

I am just after installing the latest version of Virtuemart onto my new Joomla 3.4 CMS.

It seems to do everything right except for one thing: when I try to add a product, the save, save&close, close buttons DO NOT WORK.

Why would this be happening? Is it anything to do with the  'SafePath' being empty?

I also want to bulk upload lots of products. I was hoping to use SQL to do this (because add-ons to virtuemart are not free), but if I try to add a record there, it doesn't show up in the backend at all. Maybe I did this part wrong!

Sometimes I wonder about the trend now to always ask about a "problem" straight away rather than go an have a look or search for yourself. It's a losing battle.....  Wonder who will win the sweepstake.

Must be over 50 users now who report a problem with J3.4.1 but don't bother searching first.  And VM is not the only component screwed by the J3.4 updates.
