Multi Variant - How to add the custom labels above the select menus?

Hello,

I created a multi variant custom field called Child Variant and have set the custom label parameter (at the bottom) to "yes". Then I added this custom field to my product, using several 'use custom labels'. Everything shows up fine on the frontend: neat select boxes with the values I had setup.
However, I was expecting to see the custom label above each separate select box, to indicate what it is about; now it just shows one title, which is the name of the custom field type (Child variant).
Is there any way I can show these labels? I need it, because I have several fields with the same values (fi saddle: red, green or blue - grip: red, green or blue) which might be confusing, since my visitors won't know what they are chosing the color of ...

I hope this question makes sense ...  :)

Thnx in advance
Bart

I know it's an old thread but i'm also looking for this. I'm using Multi Variant to display different pictures and have different pricing depending on the options put together namely: color, size and type. Big sizes have extra cost over normal sizes and different types have different prices. The color is a normal custom field type because it doesnt affect pricing. But i would like to show what kind of dropdown it is by adding a label. But it doesn't look like there is such option is there? Or am i overlooking something? Instead of just showing Multi Variant title and then multiple dropdowns underneath eachother. i would like to have a label or title for each dropdown. Seems like a no brainer to me but i haven't found a way to accomplish this.

Kind regards,

Tom
