email not working

We have a store that is all set up and ready to go, but there is one important element that doesn't seem to be working.  The store is not sending the confirmation email to store owner when an order is placed.  This is an important part for us.

the email is triggered by the payment plugin..  are the orders being set to Confirmed?

Have you configured the various settings in the payment plugins (they vary) and in VM config as to when and if an email is set?
