[solved] Migrate VM 1.1.9 to VM 3.0.2 - possible?

Hello all!

I have to migrate from VM 1.1.9 to a newer version of VM.
What is the better approach:
1. Migrate to VM 2.*.* (if this is better, to which exact version would you suggest?)
2. Migrate to VM 3.0.2

You can go straight to VM3 if you wish then all is over in one move. I'd use this for the migration:  http://extensions.virtuemart.net/import-export/virtuemart-migrator-detail
