I've noticed that after update from 2.6.4 to 2.6.8b the custom fields layout in product details view has changed - they're displaying in 3 columns ( at least for me - please see the attachment).
Is this intentional action? After investigation it seems like there is lack of parameter 'width' in
\components\com_virtuemart\assets\css vmsite-ltr line 218.
.product-fields .product-field,.product-related-categories .product-field {float:left;display:inline-block;}
Adding 'width:100%' solves the issue - custom fields are displaying as they should ie one below another...

Hmm...I've just update to 2.6.8c and still the same.  Could anybody clarify me - is the horizontal layout of the custom field correct? I didn't exactly understand Milbo's reply

yes, I wondered that it displayed em vertically.
So "yes" means:  Yes,  they should be displayed vertically and it will be corrected in the next release or Yes,  the horizontal layout is intentional - the custom field should be displayed that way...

I'm little confused now.. Why? Firstly since I've been using VM (about 2 years ) the layout had been vertical, secondly - I see that even in Vm3 is vertically. Lastly - it's a matter of taste, but imho the vertical layout is more readable than the horizontal counterpart...( see attachment). If the horizontal is the right one that's ok  :). I just wanted to reassure itself that it's not a shortcoming because of the reasons I've mentioned.
Btw judging by the the amount of users (0 :))who reported the same issue I think that I'm wrong :)
Thank you.

As you say - it is a matter of choice - and just a single css change to adjust the display..

there is no "right" way..
