LoadTempate - use global variable

Hello.
Hav some problem with load template. I want to use my custom variable  in template.

Example
I have addtiotion variable in product template named - YYY

i implement template
$this->loadtemplate("mytemplate");

then  i want get this variable  YYY in my custom template. But when i want to do it - it NULL
