VM3 Fatal error on category layout view caused by third party plugin or what?

Hi,
I post this thread hoping that I'll find someone with the similar issue who will have more ideas about that issue than me...
So generally the issue occurs in the category layout (front end). When I try to browse the category the blank page is shows up with the following fatal error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JPaginationObject in \libraries\joomla\html\pagination.php on line 753
During the investigation I managed to determine that the culprit is the Phoca Download Plugin - when I unpublish the plugin, the error is gone.
But...
According to the feedback from Phoca's developer: "Phoca Download Plugin does not declare a Pagination Object - there is no pagination in plugin as it is a part of content/article....,  the plugin does not need to load any pagination and does not need to declare it "
So.. What causes the error?
If anyone has this plugin please for any feedback.

The error has occured just after the update VM 3.0.2 to 3.0.3.
