Error after payment and return to shop

On the site I build we 're getting an error after the customer get's back to the site after he has paid:

can't process workflow, contact the shopowner. status is (status is blank)

No emails are received either, neither at the customer side or at the shop owners side.
When you see the error, underneath the error it says that the order was placed succesfully.
Strangly enough the pay-in-advance function works without a problem, the error only occurs after the return to the shop after payment.
The money is transfered between the bank of the customer and the site, so that works as well.

When I was building the site, everything worked fine. Then there was an upgrade of the hosting package (required SSL in the Netherlands) and the site had to be moved between servers.
Last we week we had our first customer and then the error occured.

Has anyone got a solution for this?

So the error is gone now, but still there is no feedback from the payment to the plug-in that makes the invoices.
Anyone got an idee?

Used plug-ins:
payment: ccIDEAL
invoice: ccVAOM

I've allready contacted the developer, but until now no result.

Problem is soved, it was a problem in the configaration of the payment plug-in.
