Removing Mootools

Hi to all,

As you know Joomla 2.5 comes with

/media/system/js/mootools-core.js   - 95 KB
/media/system/js/mootools-more.js - 233 KB (!)

The size of above is ridiculous and it delays the loading of the pages. Has anyone tried to disable them without problems? Does VM2 really need this stuff?
