Variety article according to a single characteristic

Hi to everybody,

a couple of strange things happen just creating variety product according to a single characteristic.

I created a Custom Field Type: Generic child variant, one product (parent, no price) with 2 child products.

The problem is that in the detail page of the product the first option is not clickable or, better, is clickable only if you click first the second option, then you can click the first one.

By the way, what is the purpose of the button "Choose first a variant" ? Why is it a link-buttton?
