Hi,

My problem is that the downloaded PDFs are damaged.
It happens when i force create, and download the PDF invoices or delivery notes from the print view tab in the orders menu tab.
The thing is that the PDFs created, and stored in the safepath destination does work. Its only the automatically downloaded version that is damaged, and to make my web shop work i really need it.
I've tried with both Chrome and Firefox, and both of them downloads damaged PDFs.
And I've tried to install a new sample of VM version 2.0.26.a on top of my old one, and it didn't help.

Any advice?

I use VM version 2.0.26a with Joomla 2.15.16

I've reported that problem already, but I suppose we will have to wait a few days for a fix. In my case the invoice fails to open in Adobe Reader on the first attempt, but the second attempt to open the invoice works. Another workaround is to 'Save' the invoice and then go to 'Tools > 'Downloads' in your browser (Firefox) and open the latest invoice from there.

In fact we have no clue, why you get this error, while others dont. I remember that I worked on this issue some hours and it took me sometime to create a solution which either let you download or directly open the pdf. After I used my proprietary code of the download plugin, it worked.

Question is now, why you get the problem?

At present I have no clue either. I just noticed that this issue exists on my local copy, but it works flawlessly on my live site. Both are using Joomla 2.5.17 and VirtueMart 2.0.26a.

My local site is running on PHP version 5.3.1
imagick is NOT listed in PHP information. Instead it lists PDFlib GmbH Version 7.0.4p4

My live site is running on PHP version 5.3.3
imagick is enabled and pdf is listed in ImageMagick supported formats
