Alternative to shopper groups

We cannot use shopper groups because the products are different for retail & wholesale.
Thus, we are evaluating using 2 ecommerc components on our site.

1. Is this possible?
2. Is it possible to use 2 independent VM on same site?
3. Which component may be suggested to be used (like VM) if 2 independent VM cannot be installed?

Plz suggest.

You can assign products to different shopper groups so they are only seen by the allocated group.

Ehrm, the idea of shoppergroups is to solve this. What you want is from our point of view absolute standard stuff.
