Cannot view my catalogue list on website?

Hi I have made a website using Joomla and installed virtuemart on to it.

Virtuemart wasn't installing when I tried to upload it as a package.

But I basically put the virtuemart folders in xampp/htdocs/components and then just installed from directory.

My manager has noticed that the preview button that is usually there to see your catalogue/shop isn't there.

what could be the problem? Or is there something I have missed?
