Hi,

I am using VM2.0.22a - Joomla! 2.5.11.

The problem is with the states dropdown NOT working: -

URL: - http://50.116.98.104/~momenceg/index.php/user/editaddresscartBT

Screenshot: - http://clipi.ca/1GO

I have read similar posts elsewhere and tried all that was mentioned, like Activate Css Styles & Javascripts in the templates etc.

I also tried Firebug, but couldn't find any errors.

Please help!

thanx :)

States Drop Down jQuery issues not revolved with VM 2.0.26

Extremely frustrated with virtuemart, your competitors are doing a better job of handling this issue. Your solution is to turn off functionality on my site in order to fix your products short comings.

I've turned the plugins off and it still does not work. Removal is not an option. Your product still pulls to the system js. I have an idea, why not code in a way that works with the Joomla install.  After market templates are quick and easy to use. You are using all that same scripts and as far as I see, enabling google apis, but it still does not work? I was recommended to your product by PayPal and have bought several add-ons which are standard in your competitors products. Frustrating....To know I could have gone with something else and have had the site up and running. Frustrating to be recommended a product that does not work by a solid company.

Where do I need to go to resolve the js connection within VM2?

VirtueMart is not "our product" but a community developed open source project. Everyone is welcome to join in the development process to add code and functionality.

Your issue is that something is preventing chosen.jquery.min.js from running correctly. This could be an issue with your additional jQuery library that is being loaded, with other template js or with a third pary plugin or module such as jcemediabox.

I notice that the template you are using is about 2 years old so may be using an old version of Gantry - I believe RT have updated Gantry just recently to function better with VM2.

jQuery Easy may help you resolve this if it is just a jQuery versions issue,  but you won't know unless you try it.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=119638.0
